    Bad on so many levels.

    OTOH, Red Dwarf is back in production with a Grant/Naylor script and the original cast, so not all is lost.

    I’m such and Asimov heretic…I don’t have a linear enough brain to slog through his stuff…it’s too dense, and therefore for me, uninteresting. (I hate to admit that)

    I’m not the fan I was when I was a kid. Also, after grad school and much thinking the whole idea of a science of “psychohistory” as described in the Foundation books strikes me as equal parts unlikely and creepy. Still, the original trilogy is, I think, deservedly considered one of the great classics of SF and having it butchered by Emmerich is almost a desecration.
